Castle Rock School of Gymnastics is now registering for the 2010-2011 school year for our Gym and Little Learners Preschool Program. This is a well-rounded educational program that will help prepare your child socially, mentally and physically for kindergarten. Open to students ages 3-5, the classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00-2:30pm. All students must be potty trained. Students should wear comfortable clothing and bring a snack every day.
Our theme-based curriculum includes 45 minutes of gymnastics and an hour and 45 minutes of structured class time. The cost is $155 per session. Each session runs concurrently with the sessions for gymnastics classes. There is a $30 registration fee if you are not already a member of CRS Gym. KID CUTIES
Miss Marcie says during class, "Georgina, what goes through your little mind all day, every day?" Georgina (3) replies, "Me, me, me, me, me!"
Ava (almost 2-1/2) heading across the gym, crooking her pinkie to Miss Marcie, "Come watch me hogwash!" Miss Marcie, wondering what is she talking about? follows Ava where she begins to hopscotch!
Savannah (8) while working on low beam is fascinated watching our Level 10 Ashleigh work out. Savannah turns to Coach Sierra and says, "She's only good because she's old."
Miss Jessie was coaching Emma (6) and exclaimed, "Oh, Emma, I love your pants!" Emma: "Thank you. My mom bought them a little too big so that they could grow into me."
Miss Tammy announces in class, "I'm sorry. We ran out of time for free play today." Hanna (4) replies, "Well, you just need to get a bigger clock, Miss Tammy!"
Hanna (4) was getting a drink out of the drinking fountain and sighs, "Oh, it's such hard work playing with those balloons! I'm soooo thirsty!"
Miss Betsy walks into the gym and Hanna (4) asks, "Miss Betsy! What are you doing in here!?" Miss Betsy: "Nothing. What are you doing?" Hannah: "Gymnastics, silly!"
YOGA-BUGS
Castle Rock School of Gymnastics is proud to announce a new class called Yoga-Bugs. These creative and engaging classes explore yoga poses through the incorporation of plants and animals, stimulating imagination, maintaining flexibility, developing conscious breathing, and conveying lessons in self-expression, body-awareness, and social skills. While having fun, kids unconsciously discipline themselves in areas of strength, balance and concentration. Over time, these techniques are consciously applied in everyday life.
Please contact Michelle Monreal at michemon05@yahoo.com or phone 303-949-6113 for questions or to register.

IMPORTANT GYM INFORMATION
PARKING: Please DO NOT park in the Kindercare lot. Park only in the lot directly in front of the main door and extending to the north and east. If you have questions about where you should park, please inquire in the gym office. Also, we have received numerous complaints about the long line of cars when parents desire to drop their children off. Please park in designated parking spaces, or if you find it necessary to simply drop your child at the door, please respect others and stop only momentarily. The congestion is causing a safety hazard for our children and it is annoying when others cannot back out of their parking spots.
PARENTS please do not enter the gym at any time during classes. It is a distraction to the students and the coaches. If you need to retrieve your child early from class, please go to the office and the staff member there will get them for you.
COMPLAINTS/COMMENTS All of us here at CRS Gym welcome your input and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns in person. Be aware, though, that any anonymous letters will not be addressed. Please have the courtesy to sign your letter so we may call you and discuss any issues. Also, it is important that you bring issues up at the time they occur. If too much time passes, the issue cannot be addressed appropriately.
SNOW DAYS: If CRS Gym classes are canceled for inclement weather, we will announce it on our answering machine, in an
e-mail blast, and on Channel 9 news. If you call the gym and you get the normal telephone message, then classes are in session.
